HELP OUR KIDS PROJECT! Donations will be allocated to setting up an activity area on the grounds at Secret Garden for the children of Koh Tao so that they can play and learn sports, skills and languages on a weekly basis and also provide all kids alike with a safe area for them to bond, develop, and meet other kids from all walks of life. What can you do? We need people to dedicate one/two hours a week to this project, to play and enjoy space and freedom with the kids, to forward any skills and pass on a good conservation behavior for the future! We already have a football trainer and English/Thai translator, and plenty of group activities and games set up for them, but we still need a lot of funds to buy uniforms and equipment and most of all to buy the insurance needed to cover this project. Please donate if you can or come down and volunteer to spend some time with the most beautiful people around - Kids!
A CLEAN BEACH IS A BEAUTIFUL BEACH – HELP KEEP IT CLEAN! Funds and Donations raised will go towards setting up a permanent weekly Sairee beach clean up. The proposal is as follows; To buy cleaning equipment and rubbish containers, pay staff in case there are not enough volunteers, to promote this project and expand it to all other beaches on Koh Tao. What can you do? Simple - Sairee beach is 1.7 kilometers long; it takes a line of 4 people walking together with a collecting stick and recyclable rubbish bags to cover the whole area. This can be done weekly in less than two hours by working together and it benefits everyone. If the response is a good one, we could expand the areas being cleaned by simply using the promenade road and clean that up too. The team will also have free use of our 3 wheeler to collect all the garbage and complete the task quickly! It only takes 3000 baht per week!! Look at it as a nice walk on the beach with a bunch of good people, because that’s all it really is…donate or give a little of your time, it will not be wasted…
