Page 1 of 3 The train is a comfortable and relatively cheap way to travel. Travelling from Bangkok to Koh Tao the ultimate destination is Chumphon from where many ferries leave at different times of the day.You can also choose to go to Suratthani from where the Songserm Express boat leaves for Koh Tao at 08:00 and the Night boat leaves at 23:00. Remember to book a seat at least a couple of days before your journey as the train is often fully booked.
