Lung Pae is one of Koh Tao's hidden gems.  Built on top of a mountain with sea views of the island's north bays, the view definitely enhances the dining experience.  Most famous for their E4 filet steak entree, the menu offers international cuisine and arguably some of the best Thai food on the island.  Getting to the restaurant may be difficult due to some undeveloped roads, however Lung Pae provides a free taxi service to and from the restaurant.  Just give them a call and arrange a meeting point.  This family owned restaurant is truly a tucked away gem and should be experienced at least once.
